Joel Morrell (1770 – October 19, 1819) was a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Louisiana.
Education and career
Born in New York City, New York, Morrell attended King's College (now Columbia University) and graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons (now Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons) in 1791. He read law in 1801. He was in private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana from 1801 to 1804. He was a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1804 to 1810. He was a member of the Louisiana State Senate from 1810 to 1816. He was a Judge of the Louisiana Criminal Court of Appeals from 1816 to 1819.
Federal judicial service
On May 22, 1817, Morrell was nominated by President James Madison to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Louisiana vacated by Judge Robert Millington. Morrell was confirmed by the United States Senate on June 3, 1817, and received his commission the same day. Morrell served in that capacity until his death on October 19, 1819, in New Orleans.

Story
Ajith Kumar plays Nagaraj, who lives in a lavish home. Nagaraj loves his wife Meera (Siddharth). Meera loves Nagaraj, but Nagaraj's sister (Vamsi Krishna) is obsessed with Nagaraj. She tries to kidnap his sister Meera. Nagaraj, in turn, asks his assistant's son Ravi (Ramesh Thilak) to take care of the incident. Ravi falls in love with Meera, and Nagaraj accepts Meera's request to marry Ravi and Meera gets pregnant. But unknown to them, Nagaraj's sister wants to kidnap Meera. She gives Ravi a black magic necklace, which makes Ravi forget Meera. Ravi gets kidnapped and Meera gets injured. Ravi suspects that Meera has been raped. Angered, Ravi sets out to kill his beloved. In the meantime, the police arrests Nagaraj. Meera gives birth to a baby. Ravi plans to kill the baby and steal
